Sonshine CM started out with a simple focus of serving McKeesport through a weekly soup kitchen, food pantry and monthly food bank; and has expanded over the years to a ministry reaching children and families with opportunities through our Hang 5 tutor program, Summer programming for children + a week of summer camp KidZone Extreme and the Hope House – a pregnancy resource center which opened in January of 2011.

Sonshine CM is a not-for-profit 501c3 faith based ministry run and supported by volunteers and community partners.

Terry has been involved as a partner in ministry here at SCM for 10 years, and became the Executive Director in Aug. 2010. She has 30 years experience in youth ministry and community development in the McKeesport area. She resides in McKeesport with her husband and they have 3 grown children, and 7 grandchildren. Terry is a member of First Evangelical Free Church.
